Stephen planned a 2 week trip in Southern Africa for us. We had multiple conversations about what our interests were, how we usually travel and how much we were willing to spend. He did a great job in meeting all our wishes.

We were thrilled by the wildlife that we saw, both at Kruger National Park, and Chobe National Park in Botswana. He also arranged a tour of Soweto and the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, both unforgettable. We especially enjoyed seeing the natural wonders of the region, Victoria Falls and the Blyde River Canyon.

The South Africa portion of our stay was self drive, and he made sure that we had directions and highlights printed out for each leg of the trip. We were very happy with all of the lodging, especially the Chobe Marina Lodge, the Rissington Inn and the Blyde River Canyon Lodge.

Shannon, at Rogue River Travel, was also a joy to work with. She made sure that we got our seating assignments as early as possible, and stayed in touch.

The airfare was the most pleasant surprise, much lower than anything I found on Kayak or Expedia.
