When you want to shower,the camp staff will fill up your hot bucket shower with hot water warmed on the open fire.

This camp site is located in private campsites in Chobe National Park.It has only five ensuite safari tents form an intimate cluster of warmth and comfort.A maximum of ten guests at any one time.
The night shift of the animals can be heard throughout the whole night,and in the am your guides will show you animal trails and tracks,of who visited during the night.
Steaming hot water in your ensuite bathroom’s bucket shower await you,to get you ready for the day ahead.
Shady veranda areas of the tent offer a place point to enjoy the bush life around you.All these luxury tents have linen and a double bed.
After the evening meal,sit your chair closer to the fire as the stories start to flow,or just look up at the African sky,and be quite.
Twice daily game drives ,explore the lush banks of the Chobe River and beyond in an open 4×4 safari vehicle accompanied by an armed guide and tracker.Game drives are conducted in the early morning and late afternoon/evening.
- Boat cruise – a leisurely cruise along the Chobe River at sunset gives guests the opportunity to spot wildlife coming down to the water to drink.
- Large herds of elephant drinking and bathing in the river are joined by groups of buffalo, while red lechwe, puku, zebra, sable and roan antelope can be spotted grazing on the floodplains. Prolific birdlife can be encountered along the river’s edge, where carmine bee-eaters build massive colonies in the exposed sandbanks..
Morning Game Drive – As dawn breaks,you are woken up with tea, coffee and homemade biscuits that will be brought to your tent.The its of on safari on a 4×4 safari vehicle with your guide and tracker.The bush is waking up,and we want to see what happened during the night.
Breakfast – After the morning game drive, on return to the camp,breakfast awaits you.Toast,jams,marmalade’s,homemade muesli,fresh fruits, assorted cheeses.Hot breakfasts are prepared on the open fir.
Take a hot shower,look at your photos,relax during the heat of the day.Kind of like the animals in the bush.
Lunch – Lunch is served under the cool shade of the dining tent.
Afternoon Tea – Relax in your tent,read,watch the bush,take a nap, read…this is the time to enjoy the peace and quite of the bush.Mid afternoon tea is served with some light snacks.
Evening Game Drive The afternoon game drive departs in mid to later afternoon.This is a time when when most of the animals come down to drink at the water holes.
Dinner – On your return to the camp,the camp staff will serve you refreshing drinks,around a blazing fire.You then have your meal under the Africa sky.The meals are cooked on the open fire.After dinner,sit around the fire and listen to stories,eat some desserts,or sit with a cup of tea/coffee, and enjoy the beauty of the African sky
Twice daily game drives -:
1x a day both early morning and or late afternoon,you will experience the wonder of the Africa bush,the central part of a Botswana Safari,in an open 4×4 safari vehicle accompanied by an armed guide and tracker.
Game drives are conducted in the early morning and or late afternoon/evening to avoid the heat of the day, and to follow the same cycle as the animals do. They tend to siesta or disappear during the heat of the day.
The tracker search’s for tracks, and the guide who talks about the animals and the bush,will occasionally stop the vehicle,and show the tracks.
Boat cruise –
It is this element of the Safari experience that the Chobe National Park so different.
You will embark on a slow cruise along the banks of the Chobe River at sunset. This gives you the opportunity to spot the wildlife coming down to the water to drink. Large herds of elephant drinking and bathing in the river are joined by groups of buffalo, while red lechwe, puku, zebra, sable and roan antelope can be spotted grazing on the floodplains.
Chobe Prolific bird life can be encountered along the river’s edge.The beautiful carmine bee-eaters are my favorite.
Chobe is truly magical,and is a must experience as part of any Botswana Safari
