The Zambezi Queen Chobe Houseboat
A houseboat Safari especially during the months between July to November is really worth it as it is a unique Africa safari experience. It adds a unique element to a Botswana Safari.
The combination of land game drives and being on the river in Chobe, especially during the high season ie July to November is what makes the Chobe experience that stand apart as compared to other any safari possibilities.
I will be honest in that Chobe is not a pure wilderness as there is no game activities in the evening time so the game activities are usually a game drive and then’a river cruise so the park can be busy around the riverfront area.
However there are lodges that in quite places, the houseboat stays in the river when all the other boats head back and the tented space is a quite experience.
Still I suggest to travelers to experience Chobe. It has a magic that you don’t find in many place in Africa.
