Selinda Camp
Selinda Camp is situated on the banks of the Selinda Spillway located in a large vast area of about 320,00-acre.The Selinda Reserve as a point of reference for your Botswana Safari planning,is located in northern Botswana.
Selinda Camp is a luxury tented safari camp located by the banks of the Selinda Spillway is a magnet for wildlife.
The beauty of Selinda camp is that you have a large vast area,with many activities,and only a relatively small number of guests to share it with.
The camp is shaded by large old growth trees,and the camp has great views over to the floodplains and savannas of the Selinda Reserve.

Best time to visit: All year round(hot in Summer)
Fully inclusive of accommodation, scheduled wildlife activities, meals, laundry, conservancy fees, return airstrip transfers, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (excluding imported and premium drinks).
One pair of Swarovski binoculars are available in each of the guest tents of Selinda and Zarafa Camps on a complimentary use basis during stay.
• Inter camp and Maun / Kasane air transfers are excluded from the night accommodation rates.

Selinda camp is designed due to specially designed raised decks that surround both the main lounge and luxury guest tents,so one can be constantly on safari game viewing.

Accommodation & Facilities of Selinda Camp
Selinda Camp architecture of the main area is quite a sight for arriving guests.It has high-beamed ceilings with a thatch roof with raised wooden foundation.
The main lounge has been designed around the elements of water,air,earth and fire.
Off the main lounge is a tea veranda.The fabrics used which are light colors resemble the air element.
The earth element is in the dining areas either under thatch roof or under the Africa Sky.
Selinda Camp’s has nine luxury large canvas tents:

Raised on wooden decks. - Three-quarter sized beds with flowing mosquito nets
- Ceiling fans and roof vents are used to cool the rooms
- A writing desk
- large private veranda
- extended en-suite dressing and dual basin vanity area
- bathroom complete with a deep stone bath and antique shower
There is a plunge pool in the middle of the richness of the Africa bush, to cool of in between game drives.
At the end of the day the evening fireside experience..the element of fire..stories of Africa safari,jokes,or quite time.A special way to end the perfect safari experience.
Selinda has a large wine cellar.
Meals are generally
- a light breakfast at dawn,
brunch on return from the morning safari activity
afternoon tea and snacks
dinner in the evening after the game drive.

LAUNDRY
Laundry is done on a daily basis and is complimentary.
ELECTRICITY
The camp operates on a 220V electricity system powered by a generator that operates a few hours a day, when guests are generally not in camp.
The generator charges a set of batteries, which in turn pass through an inverter system capable of converting battery power to 220V power.
This conversion supplies power 24 hours a day to the entire camp. A set of universal plug points is available in each tent. It is recommended to bring a spare set of batteries so one set can be charged while the other is out on safari.
