The Ngala Safari Lodge,Ngala mean ‘lion’ in Shangaan, was the first private safari reserve to be incorporated in the world-famous Kruger National Park – the largest wildlife sanctuary in South Africa.

LOCATION
Ngala Game Lodge is situated on 14 800 hectares/36 500 acres of exclusive game-rich Kruger National Park land, Northern Province, South Africa. The Lodge’s spectacular setting is near the Kruger’s Timbavati gate.
ACCESS
Scheduled flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town International Airports to Eastgate Airport. The transfer from Eastgate Airport is by road and takes one hour.
Ngala is accessible for guests by two-wheel drive vehicle. Driving time from Johannesburg is 5 hours on excellent roads.

Dinner is served either in the traditional African boma (reeded enclosure) or in the romantic lantern-lit courtyard.
The lodge has a well-stocked craft gallery.
A well-equipped, air- conditioned conference room seating up to 42 delegates is situated in a quiet corner away from the central guest areas.
ACTIVITIES
Twice daily game-drives in open game viewing vehicles and nature walks on the reserve are included in the rate.
The excellent game viewing experience is complemented by other activities such as stargazing, bird-watching and moonlit bush dinners and bush sundowners (weather permitting).
