Phinda The homestead
Phinda Private Game Reserve is a private large game park 23 000 hectares located in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
It has great game viewing that includes the cheetah,and the Big Five ie lion,leopard,elephant,buffalo and rhino,the endangered black rhino,and an impressive list of 415 bird species.
Phinda has seven distinct and unique habitats.Its very unusual to find such a variety of eco systems in one area.

The design at Phinda Homestead utilizes traditional materials such as thatch, gumpole and stone tile.The outdoor sitting area has been purposely designed as the central area of the Homestead.
A rim flow eternity pool is available to cool of during the heat of the day.

As you have a dedicated guide and tracker,and game drive vehicle,you decide when to go out on game drives. However dont sleep in, as you may miss out on the action.Early morning are best.
