Sabi Sabi’s Selati Camp is an award winning game lodge.The name Selati comes from the old Gold mining days,the  railway line that crossed the Sabi Sand Reserve.

During your evening safari,you are offered sundowner drinks and snacks,as well as return transfers from the Sabi Sabi Airstrip are included in the rate.

Sabi Sabi’s Selati Camp has been designed with a old railway and colonial theme.his theme extends to the  original shunters lights,that light the way to your suite.

Sabi Sabi’s Selati Camp was originally designed to run without without electricity,however it now has overhead fans, air-conditioning .

 

The nights at Sabi Sabi Selati  camp are magical.Under the Africa night starry sky,the whole camp is lit by of oil lamps,lanterns,and by the warmth and glow of a fire.Romantic, peaceful,different.

Designed in the old Colonial decor of yesteryear, Sabi Sabi Selati  camp has only eight  thatched roof suites,each with a en suite bathroom,complete with a private  shower located under beautiful old indigenous trees.

The meals are served either on a wooden thatched deck that is located alongside the Msuthlu riverbed,in the boma,(open air dinning area) or in the farmhouse kitchen.

Selati’s Camp most luxury accommodation is the Ivory Presidential Suite.Past clients of this suite include Royalty ie Kings and Queens.
