Gourmet Food/Wine Constantia Valley

This is a super half day tour and lunch in Constantia Valley.

It combines wine-tasting, a visit to a cheesery,a walk in the vineyards and ends with a flourish with a lunch at one of the best restaurants in the Cape.

Your guide collects you after a leisurely breakfast and you begin the morning with a tasting visit to a Cape Classique (champagne) estate at a private family farm or at the world renowned Buitenverwachting Wine Estate.

You continue to a cheesery which gives an insight into cheese making in South Africa followed by an informal tasting of wonderful Cape cheeses.

Afterwards you enjoy a walk in the vineyards which is followed by a tasting of some well-known white and red wines of the valley.

The morning ends with lunch at the award- winning La Colombe Restaurant suitably rounding off a stunning introduction to South Africa’s most famous valley.

Private half day tour available from Monday to Saturday from 9.30am-3pm.
