4N:Fossils/Bushman rock art/Xhosa Culture/Karoo Farm Life

This is a most unusual tour that is privately guided that combines the best of of our Eastern Cape Cultural Tours Xhosa Culture with Karoo farm Life,a little Archaeology and amazing scenery.

We can do this tour in reverse order as well,and we can also add in a stop over in Mt Zebra National Park where they have a track cheetahs safari programs.

Eastern Cape Tour Details:

 Day 1

Arrive East London …Tour this City with its old colonial style building….then experience the contrast as we visit South Africa 2cnd largest township..maybe we will stopover at a local soup kitchen…travel to Alice overnite, overnite at a local BB.

Day 2 :

Visit South Africa oldest Black University,a local black art gallery,walk in villages,experience Xhosa Culture,do some bead work,or be part of a make Xhosa bread/drink tea activity with the village folks.

Then drive to the Great place for your overnite stay that will include local traditional dancing and dinner.

 Day 3:

After breakfast, we depart early am for Mt Zebra park to see its mountain zebra, black rhino and hopefully cheetahs…arrive at our rural BB later afternoon

Day 4

 

Farm stay tonite that will include fossils/ medicinal plants/ bushman rock art paintings/meerkats/rural farm hospitality..for those who like to walkthere is a nice peak to walk up…here you will experience the solitude, peace,quite of the Karoo,and warmth Afrikaner hospitality.

 Day 5

We leave to visit the artists small village of Nieu Bethesda….then drop you off in Port Elizabeth or back in East London.
