Note from Stephen..If this trip takes place in August/September onwards to November Northern Kruger attracts huge heard’s of animals so it would worth your time to spend more time in this area.It has some private lodges located in the are as well as a walking safari camp.
Day 1
Pick up from Polokwane, if you fly up, or we can have you driven up to Venda.
Transfer to Shiluvari Lakeside Lodge,settle in and dinner at the lodge.Your guide will go over the next days of this Venda and Kruger National Park tour.
Day 2:
Visiting local artists in their workshops and or visit Mvudi or another Primary school,looking at the challenges rural schools and pupils are facing,talk to the principal return to the lodge for sun-set drive on the Albasini dam.
Day 3 :
Step back in time and visit one of the remaining royal homesteads in the heartland of Venda.Hear and see all about tradition and traditional leadership in modern day South Africa or enjoy exploring the wood carvers,drum makers,textile makers,venda potters,music instruments craftsman,and markets of the local area.
Visit legendary places like Sacred Lake Fundudzi,the only natural inland lake in the whole of South Africa and take a refreshing plunge at Tshatshingo potholes.
Day 4:
After we are finished with Venda,we enter the world-renowned Kruger National Park through Punda Maria gate and travel through lush Mopani bushland along riverine areas to reach your rest camp
Day 5:
Take an early morning game drive to boost your chances of seeing “the big five” and arrive at Mopani Camp for a late morning breakfast.
After some relaxation continue down to Olifants Camp, nestled on a steep ridge overlooking the great Letaba river.
Day 6:
Continue gamedrive down to Skukuza and leave the park just in time to connect to your flight leaving from Nelspruit Airport.

Another option for the Kruger National Park Safari is :
Day 1
Leaving Venda in the morning a 1 hours drive will get you to Krugers Punda Maria Gate. Stop for a nice brunch and possible swim the swimming pool of the camp or spend time at the wildlife look out point. Continue to Shingwedzi Camp and afternoon drive via riverine landscape down to Mopani. Accommodation in fully equipped chalets.
Day 2
Full-day game drive heading for Satara Camp which has the nick-name “lions camp”,as often the roar of lions can be heard at night time. ptional night drives can be booked with Kruger Management and the evening will be rounded of with a traditional African braai, barbeque.
Day 3
Last chance to spot the leopard on way out via Hazyview. Transfer to Kruger International or Hoedspruit airport.
Extension to Mpumalanga
Day 3
Leaving Kruger at Orpen gate following the gorgeous Abel Erasmus mountain pass.
Arrive at the Blyde River Canyon with spectacular views of the “Three Rondavels” a special rock formation resembling African traditional huts.
Stop over at Bourke’s Luck Potholes with guided walk past the rock pools. Overnight Graskop.
Day 4
Visit “God’s Window” (weather permitting) and stop at “Lisbon waterfalls” or short drive to the Gold digger’s village of Pilgim’s rest.
Transfer to Kruger International airport.
