These overland adventure tours leave on set days,have a set price and has a set itinerary.
Where they differ is how much participation is required of each participant,the level of services ie bedding,activities and size of the group.
They can be of a short duration ie a 5 to 7 days to longer 28 day trips exploring different areas of Africa.
A new approach to escorted overland tours are accommodated overland tours in 3 to 4* local lodging.
Some of them operate accommodated group trips,that use lodging,routes,and activities,that are different from the normal escorted tour operators,thus adding variety,and offering a less expensive accommodated escorted tour.
