This morning you will be collected by our tourist guide. Drive east, over Sir Lowry’s Pass, via Route 62 to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo.
We meander down the mountain onto Route 62, which is the alternative and more scenic route that links the Western and Eastern Cape.
Enjoy lunch en route (own account) to Oudtshoorn.
Visit an ostrich farm where you will have the unique opportunity of learning more about ostriches, seeing the hatchery, and even daring to ride (own account) one of these strange and magnificent birds.
Dinner (own account) will be enjoyed at the hotel or one of the quaint restaurants situated in town.

Day 2 | Friday
OUDTSHOORN to KNYSNA via WILDERNESS (±125km)
Today’s journey sees us travelling to Knysna via the Outeniqua Pass and Wilderness.
After breakfast we depart the hotel to visit the Cango Caves, a 20 million year old subterranean wonderland at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains.
The Outeniqua mountain pass takes us to Wilderness. Enjoy photo opportunities and unspoilt views at the Map of Africa lookout point(weather permitting).
After lunch (own account) we continue our journey to the pretty town of Knysna.

Day 3 | Saturday
KNYSNA to PORT ELIZABETH via TSITSIKAMMA FOREST (±265km)
Depart after breakfast, and travel through Plettenberg Bay and onto Port Elizabeth via the Tsitsikamma Forest.
At Storms River Mouth you will be given the opportunity to cross the suspension bridge that spans the river.
We enjoy lunch (own account) in the woodland setting of the Garden Route (Tsitsikamma) National Park.
The ancient Tsitsikamma Forest is an extensive protected conservation area that supports a great diverse ecosystem and indigenous flora and birdlife.
Continue through the scenic Garden Route before arriving late afternoon at your Port Elizabeth hotel or Port Elizabeth International Airport.
